David Schmitt has more than ten years of experience in programming, database infrastructure management, engineering, and optimization. He is specialized in Oracle technologies such as standardisation, backup & recovery, tuning, high availability (Oracle Data Guard), monitoring tools (Grid Control, Nagios), and service management & support. David Schmitt is ITIL Foundation V3 certified. Prior to joining dbi services, David Schmitt was Consultant at Trivadis in Basel. He also worked as an Unix/Linux IT Administrator and Oracle DBA at Crossair/Swiss in Basel. David Schmitt holds a BTS degree in Information Systems from France. His branch-related experience covers Pharma, Transport and Logistics, Banking, Energy, etc.
